EGR Removal Blanking Delete Kit BMW M47 Engine for Freelander TD4

An EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve removal blanking kit.

The EGR valves on these vehicles are troublesome, often failing, and are expensive to replace.Remove the EGR valve with this simple to fit kit and eliminate the problem from happening and also results in an improvement in performance and economy.

Fitting this kit is quite straight forward but if in doubt seek expert advice before fitting.

Land Rover: Range Rover L322, 3.0TD6, 2002-2006
Rover: 75, 2.0TD, 1999-2005, BMW M47

From May 2018 the MOT rules in the UK are changing! Amongst the stricter rules are new legislation regarding emissions including DPF’s and EGR systems. Any modifications/removal to emissions related devices, this includes DPF’S and EGR’s is now a major fail.

During an MOT test, the tester can only do a visual check of the emissions systems, the MOT tester is not permitted to remove covers or guards to make an inspection.

You need to be aware of this before removing or modifying any emissions related devices on your car.
